Today is a day of mixed emotions for me. It marks the 13th year since my Angel Pie, Rebecca, went to be with our Lord. It is because of how God worked in her life, that I came to know Him and have Life Everlasting. Her short and challenging life is a complete success because, through this ministry, she is still pointing others to Christ and offering them the Hope of Eternity.
Her very life was a miracle, filled with miracles….You see, my Baby Girl was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of five years old. For the next 7 1/2 years, she endured what I call one horrendous miracle after the other… “horrendous” because each crisis was horrible, but “miracle” because it was a miracle she lived through even one of those episodes, much less all of them, all those years.
Again by God’s Grace, through all those years of miracles, God saw it was time to bring her go Home. And while there doesn’t go a day that I don’t miss her, I know where she is and I am looking forward to our Eternal reunion in Paradise. In the meantime, I am going to live in a way that will honor her memory and glory the God Who has lavished His Love upon us. The Abundant Life, in growing increments, is the way to make her, already precious life, have even more value.
Won’t you join me today, while we still cry with Hope, to choose to celebrate her life and the lives of all our loved ones that have passed from this world, especially this very challenging year.
