As I read the Book of Job, one of the things that always made me wonder is why God seems so angry with Job’s three friends. This, of course, leads me to study Scripture so I can seek answers to my questions.
The first thing I do is invite the Holy Spirit into my thoughts, trusting Him to guide my studies. As I turn to the resources I shared with you last week, the Holy Spirit uses them to help me wrap my mind around where God’s heart was as He listened to these three “friends” of Job. That word, “friends,” is a key to God’s response. This week, I will share with you three things I learned as I delved into why God was not pleased with them.
