This beautiful prayer taught to us by Jesus Himself, not only reveals Who God is, but it also tells us who we are in light of Him. We don’t have to go very far into this prayer to see just that.
OUR Father talks about how all believers are a community, a nation of people who belong to God. But this is much more than just a community or nation. Because God is our FATHER, we are to understand that all believers are a family with God as the Father and all of us as His children.
Two very simple words, yet very powerful if we allow this truth to filter into our hearts and help us love one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. It will change how we deal with each other, if we let it.
