Question of Obedience, NOT Love

The question should never be: does God love us? Yes, He loves us! See John 3:16 or just gaze upon the Cross if you are not sure. No matter who you are, no matter whether you have surrendered your life to Jesus or not, God always loves you…but He does not condone everything we choose to do. We can never mistake God’s patience for God’s permission. His Word is clear about what is acceptable to Him (clean and holy) and what is NOT (unclean and unholy). There will come a time when He will separate those who are His, from those who refuse to be (see Mt 25:31-46), but for now, we are to follow Christ and love everyone.

Loving everyone does NOT mean we have to agree with everyone. We are NOT to become complicit by saying what God has condemned is ok. The Freedom to stand up for His Word is being challenged, Church, and if we do not stand up for Christ, we will fall into misery. This is not a question of love, we love others because God has forgiven and loves us, but it is a question of obedience. Are we His? Then we need to follow what He has created and commands in the Bible.

Just like in the Garden of Eden, God gives us the Freedom to choose which way we will go: will we trust and follow Him OR will we doubt Him and follow Self? What we need to understand is that there are consequences for both decisions…help me spread the news…
