It is way above my pay grade to say who goes where for all Eternity! That’s God’s part because only He knows every human’s heart. He has given each of us the Freedom to choose our own way. This is what the whole story of the Garden of Eden is all about! (See Genesis 2:8-9; all chapter 3) God gave Adam and Eve a choice when He planted that second tree right in the middle of His Garden. Would mankind choose to trust and obey God when He said not to eat from that fruit, OR would we choose to doubt God’s Love, think we know better and then disobey Him? We all know what the first two humans chose, but we ALL have been doing the same things ever since. It is ONLY because of the Father’s Love, the sacrifice of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit that we have the ability to make a different choice now. We can choose to trust and obey…or still choose to doubt and disobey. This is the gift of Freedom God has given each of us. But Church, our freedoms are being threatened right now, and we will lose the ability to live by our choice to trust and obey IF we do nothing.
God’s part is to love us into His waiting arms. Only He knows each heart and only He will allow each of us to reap what we sow. Our part, besides trusting and obeying God, is to love others. But it is NOT love to see someone doing something the Bible CLEARLY says is sin (disobedience) and not say something. It is like seeing someone running head first off a cliff and not trying to stop them! When we stand before Jesus when our time here is done, He will not ask us why so-and-so did not listen or change. He will ask us why we did not tell that person about Him and His Word. This is love. Love says NO! Do not cower before others who are trying to force their agenda, their plan, their lifestyle choices upon us, Church! We have the Resurrection Power of our Christ to draw others to Life. Do not quench it!
It is Freedom to not force anyone to choose one way or the other, AND to not be forced to choose their way over God’s. Church, we must protect this Freedom by not giving in to the world, but by continuing to trust and obey our Creator, Savior and the Giver of Life….help me spread the news…
