Please read and pray to our Merciful God about this very powerful verse: 2Chronicles 7:14. IF we who are called by HIS Name will do our part: humble ourselves, pray, seek His Will, and turn away from our wickedness…because, even if we have surrendered our lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are still imperfect children of God who tend to choose our own way instead of His, and we need to repent of this! IF we do our part, THEN He promises to do His: to hear our pleas, to forgive our sins, and to heal our nation. Do NOT forget, this is a relationship. God will not do our part for us…and we CANNOT do His part for Him. Growing in Christ is learning this truth, and freely and willingly doing our part in obedience to Him, out of gratitude for His Love and all He has already given us.
There are so many bill being voted on right now in Congress that have the potential to take away of freedoms and change the way we are allowed to worship and follow Christ. Contact your Congressman, write to them, email them, call them…if you can, get a group together and go to their office and speak with them. Let them know how we feel, Church. They are supposed to be representing every one of their constituents. But if we remain passive, how will they know where our passions lie? Church it is time to wake up and stand for our Faith and Freedom.
Let me leave us all with this beautiful prayer: May God bless and keep us, may His face smile upon us, May He always be gracious to us, and may He grant us peace. (my paraphrase of Number 6:24-26)…have a blessed Sunday, but DO SOMETHING…and help me spread the news…
