As I have said before, Church it is Time for us to awaken and actually BE the Church. For those of us who are saved AND growing in Christ, we must turn to the person sitting next to us every Sunday and interact with them. We must help others know God deeper too. We must encourage them to rise up too. We must pray for marriages, for families, for Truth to prevail.
I know I am talking about the environment this week, yet what good is for us to have our happy home but the rest of the Church be in misery? Next week, we will talk about our responsibilities to tend the Garden, this world God has given us, but again, if we are not focusing on human hearts, what’s the point? This world is fading. Nature will not last forever, but people? We are eternal beings, just like God is…but whether we live forevermore with Him in heaven, or die perpetually apart from Him in you know where, is a whole other story.
Church, we must pray. Pray for the Salvation of the lost. Pray for the strengthening of marriages. Pray for the protection of our children. Pray without ceasing is what the Bible advocates…this is why Sanctification is vital for real Life. The more we grow in Christ, the more we will pray to Him about everything, and the more His power will be seen on earth as it is in Heaven. You want a safe environment? Then if there was ever a Time for the Church to rise up and pray, it must be now!
