I have made reference to this week’s verse, several times, especially last week, so why don’t we add it to our “verses to memorize” this year. It is from the Gospel of John 8:32
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Jn 8:32 NIV
Knowing the Truth, that God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life, is the foundation for being set free. The truth of the Father’s endless Love, the truth of the Son’s selfless sacrifice and the truth of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling power is what we must know, and know deeply, if we want to be set free.
