Manifesting Himself through us. This is what God desires. We were created in His Image. We strayed way off from that perfect Nature. But now in Christ, God is bringing us back to that original design. Out part? Stay attached to the Vine! The more we choose to think in godly ways, control our emotions righteously and want what God wants, more than we want what we want, the more the amazing Fruit of the Spirit we will be able to simply display. God produces this Fruit in us and we simply bear the Fruit for all to see. The Freedom we will experience will, not only bless us, but hopefully, those around us too.
You see, it is not “normal” to remain at peace when everything around us is chaotic. It is not “normal” to have Joy when you did not get what you wanted. It is not “normal” to feel right with God deep down inside, even when we still continue to be imperfect. But here’s the lovely thing, in Christ we are no longer “normal”! We are extraordinary! It is God’s “extra” on our “ordinary” that makes this life so abundant. This union makes all the difference. We seem like other humans, yet we are not, because we have the Eternal One, our Creator, our Lord, our Savior, our Teacher, our King…we have our God, living on the inside. We are never alone. And we are NOT what we were. We are Beloved. We are Forgiven. We are His! And because of this Truth, we can abide in Christ- that’s the last secret in this great book, by the way, so I encourage you all to finish reading it, to find out more. As we remain attached to the Vine, abiding in His Love and Grace, let’s choose to humbly reveal this Truth of who we now are in Christ, to the whole world…praying that they choose to join us!
