The Ring
Will you be mine? What a beautiful question that every heart longs for, especially when we have met and started dating that special person. Usually the man will get on his knee, present his lady love with the ring and the two will begin to commit their lives to one another. Engagement is phase 3 of the development of this most intimate relationship. But this is not a seal to the union, only the beginning. If things “don’t work out,” you can still go your own ways because the union has not been made legal in God’s eyes, nor according to this world’s laws. In order for this to be an everlasting connection, the final stage is required.
