Never Giving Up

Because God is our Loving, Omniscient God Who knows the end before the beginning even starts, we can trust Him no matter how He answers our prayers! We, on the other hand, must continue to grow so that we only answer His calls by the first option, Direct: “Yes Father, here I am to gladly obey. I trust You.” This is what I call the Gethsemane Moment, where Jesus surrendered His entire self- Spirit, Soul and Body- to the Father, trusting Him to always and only do whatever was best.

I have to be honest, every time there is a delay with my Dad reversing this ostomy and our family getting back to some kind of normalcy (whatever that is now), I really struggle with how I respond to God! But struggling is ok. It is turning away from God and giving up on Him that is not! This is what the enemy wants, but by God’s Grace, we will never give up on Him, because God never gives up on us!

How God answers our prayers:

1- Direct: “Yes, here you go. Trust Me.”

2- Deny: “No, that’s not what is best for you. Trust My Plan.”

3- Delay: “Yes, but you’re not ready yet. Trust My Timing.”

4- Different: “Yes, but not the way you expected. Trust My Way.”

How we answer God’s calls:

1- Direct: “Yes Father, here I am to gladly obey. I trust You.”

2- Deny: “No Father, I refuse to obey. I trust my own plan.”

3- Delay: “Yes Father, but not right now. I trust my own timing.”

4- Different: “Yes Father, but according to my understanding. I trust my way
