Today’s Lesson: The number one killer of humanity is….PRIDE!
Pride is the root of all evil and complicates God’s simple plan for, not only Salvation, but for life in general. This “Me, Myself and I” mentality (MMI) where I want what I want, when I want it, how I want it and so on and so on, causes all the unrest we have in this world. Think about it, if that is MY attitude and then it is YOUR attitude, and it is also the NEXT PERSON’S attitude etc, etc, how can we have peace and joy?
Pride is deadly. It is the heart attitude that brought down the Archangel Lucifer, and because he now wants to destroy God’s children, it is the heart attitude we became infected with back in the Garden of Eden because of this crafty Serpent. It continues to lead us towards death…but do we know what death is? We will talk about that tomorrow.
