So if “happy” is all about pleasing me, all about having things go my way, all about others treating me the way I want…can you see it? Happy is all about ME! That MMI mentality of “me, myself and I” which leads us to Pride, which is the root of all evil. We will never sense fulfilled and live a truly satisfying life when Pride rules over us.
Joy, on the other hand, does NOT center on ME, not alone anyway. Joy is all about our relationship with our Father and Creator. It is not based on situations but on the FACT that He loves us unconditionally and never-ending. Because of this we “can” have Joy unconditionally and never-ending…we can, but do we? More tomorrow…
