The only way to grow to be more like Jesus is to receive the Mercy of God that we need so we are able to humbly move forward. As we learn to put God’s Word into practice, we become like the wise man instead of like the fool who hears the Word but does nothing with it to grow. (Mt 7:24-27)
Receiving His Mercy is putting God’s Word into practice because He desires for us to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus and we cannot do that if we are beating ourselves up. The more we choose to make these Life decisions, putting His Word into practice, the more “Christian” we become, because a Christian is not someone who…more tomorrow…
