To have the best health possible, we must move so that there is a healthy flow into us, through us, then out of us. Whether we are talking about our circulatory, digestive and even lymphatic systems, we need movement to make sure these perform optimally. It is not healthy for us to remain stagnant, causing any fluids within us to not flow properly.
So where’s the object lesson I mentioned yesterday? This is symbolic for our spiritual life too. Everything comes from God to us, blesses us, but then it must continue to flow out of us to bless others. As we receive these blessings from God, whether time, talents or treasures, we must do something, moving those blessings by sharing them with others. That is the fulfilling life we were created for. Anything that stays stagnant within us, will end up doing us harm instead of remaining a blessing.
Whether it’s our spiritual life, our thoughts, emotions and desires or our physical bodies, being stagnant will only cause us problems. So learn to make sure everything keeps flowing to us, in us, then out of us…and being active is a huge part of helping this become automatic when it comes to our physical health.
