Wishful thinking will get us nowhere. We need to stop wishing we were healthier, but instead, we need to start worshipping then working. Worship always comes first because we need the Holy Spirit’s guidance and insight and power to self-discipline and so on in order to sow those good seeds today to get to that healthier tomorrow. All good and perfect things come from God to us, blessing us, and then through us in actions that will help us, as well as encouraging others too. We must learn to worship God first and foremost.
Then, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we need to work. We actually have to DO something in order for us to get healthier. We need to do research and study the latest knowledge about the ways to get in good shape. And we need to just move. So make time to go for that walk on your treadmill, or even better, walk outdoors in nature. Or dance, or stretch or…anything else that will help us move because it will all lead to better physical health. Check out my article to get more ideas.
