Gain When You Lose

“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for Me will find it.” (Matthew 16:25) This is what we have been talking about all week. Are we willing to give up some time of doing nothing, in order to be more active, so that we can actually reap a better health in our future? This depends on our perspective. Are we viewing life from our self-centered state where we only want whatever is easy, comfortable or pleasurable? Or are we lifting our eyes to God and wanting what He wants for us, a full life filled with health in our spirit, soul and body? If we hold on to God’s Will instead of our own, we might lose some “me” time, but we will gain so much more! And like we said yesterday, everyone wins as we choose to be active.

The more we choose to lose “our” life and live with, in and through Jesus instead, the more LIFE we actually have, filled to the overflow with peace, joy and righteousness, no matter what is going on around us. We gain so much more every time we choose to lose our old, sedimentary lifestyle. If this is you, please join me and choose to just move.
