Several years after my Baby Girl went to be with our Lord, I had not started working yet and our household was starting to feel that tension financially. I was desperate to figure out how to continue paying our bills while I was still healing from our loss. At that time, I “just happened” to engage with a devotional about Biblical financing on my favorite Bible app You Version (see the video in link below for more on this app). There I was introduced to Dave Ramsey and his philosophy. Again, I “just happened” to feel moved to check out his website and “found” his Financial Peace University curriculum. I prayed about purchasing it and immediately sensed God say, “Go for it!”
Let me say that being desperate is often a great place to be with God. It is when we come to the end of ourselves that we are open to whatever He Wills for us! So I poured myself into this home version of FPU, and began implementing it right away…and let me tell you, the amount of control and peace I had over our finances, was literally out of this world! Because it is based on Biblical principles, this program has changed our finances, making us more effective stewards of God’s gifts. See the “effective” part in this Ripple?
