It is plain wisdom not to spend every single penny we make, for right here and right now. Thinking about future needs, and preparing ways to pay for them ahead of time, certainly adds to our financial peace and freedom. Making tithing, then savings a priority in our monthly working budgets will lead to blessings here, and in the future. Remember, if you have proclaimed to be a Christian, our children, and others, are watching what we do. The more we learn about God’s Way of handling money and implement these strategies, the more we can teach them by example how money is supposed to be a blessing, not a cause too stress out.
So if you haven’t, start an Emergency Fund today, then get out of debt, then finish that Emergency Fund, then look for ways to add investing for retirement, for big future expenses and college into your monthly working budget. I will say it one last time, when we do these wise things with our income, they will help us, and others, have, and maintain, financial freedom.
