Armed with the truth of our verse from last week, that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, we should be more equipped to believe and apply the truth of our “verse to memorize” for this week. It is from 1st Peter, chapter 5, verse 7
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1Pe 5:7 NIV
Now, note I said above, since we can trust God to give us the strength to do all things, we SHOULD quickly be able to cast all our anxiety on Him…we should. Yet because we are children who are still learning how to let go of any control we think we have, and to simply give God our cares and concerns, in order for this wonderful verse to be a daily reality in our lives, requires something from us. Let’s talk about it this week.
