Marvelous Love

What amazing freedom we experience when the guilt of our sin is lifted off our tiny shoulders.

“‘No one, Lord,’ she answered. ‘Then neither do I condemn you,’ Jesus declared. ‘Now go and sin no more.’” Jn 8:11 BSB

Once we receive Jesus as Savior and Lord, there is no one who can ever condemn us ever again. Not the devil and his endless lies. Not that coworker who is trying to belittle you so he can get that promotion. Not your family who does not believe in your ability to reach your dreams. No one. Why? Because the only one with a right to condemn us has already chosen to set us free. Only the sinless Perfect Son of God could pass judgment on us, but again, this is why He came, to acquit us of ALL charges. His Love runs so deep that there is nothing you and I could do that His Love could not wash clean.

Today, let’s bask in the glory that is God’s Grace and Mercy. This lovely story displays the understanding heart of God. He understands we are not perfect. He understands that we only see part of the picture. He understands that we want to hold on to things that we can see, hear, smell, taste and touch, with these five humanly senses. He understands because He became like us…only He never sinned. He did this so He could pay for our sin debt. He did this so that we could be with Him in Heaven forevermore. He did this because God so loves the world…that includes you and me, my Friends. What Love is this that my King should die for me? Let’s marvel in it today…and everyday.
