The next behavior Mrs Meyer speaks about should be very obvious, and yet sadly, too many people do not follow this vital one. It is Healthy Habits. This is more a matter of HOW we live our lives rather than how LONG we live them. You see, God wants you and me to be as healthy as we possibly can be as we get older, so that we may be able to do, and enjoy, everything He has planned for our lives. By the Grace of God, I finally got this truth through my thick skull. I have drawn the line in the sand, as they say, and have implemented the behaviors necessary to finally lose this weight and be physically fit. Since January, I am down about 20 pounds with still another 40 to go. Pray for me and I will pray for you!
Back in 2021, I spent a very long time talking about our health as part of my “Seven Ripples of Life” series, so you can check them all out on my channel at your leisure, but I am finally taking my own words seriously and implementing those “7 Pillars of Physical Health” I spoke about, and I am beginning to reap all the benefits. Here they are: 1- Nutrition, 2- Hydration, 3- Activity, 4- Sleep hygiene, 5- Gut health, 6- Relaxation and 7- Environmental. When we begin to work on these different areas of life, implementing the good habits we know we could, and should, then our improved health will effect our thoughts and emotions for good. The healthier we are physically, the clearer our minds will be and the less of those “death symptoms,” like depression or anxiety, we will experience. We will be more energetic, more available to be a blessing to others, and we will represent God more appropriately, because there is nothing unhealthy about our God! Check out some of my links below on those videos and I will see you tomorrow…
