Say it by heart with me today, my Friends:
“Then Jehoshaphat was afraid and set his face to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.” 2Chron 20:3 ESV
Fear is real, but Faith is also. And as we grow in Christ, Faith is the power to release the blessings of Life in our lives, and the lives of those around us too. Remember, others are watching us. If we have claimed to be a Christian, others want to know what that looks like. In the face of the increasingly frightening events on this planet, when we can remain calm and seek to do the right thing in spite of what’s going on, we are displaying God’s power in and through us. Faith becomes real and tangible. We are not just talking the talk, but walking the walk, and others will be drawn into Jesus too. That’s the major purpose of Sanctification. To show others how life can be so wonderfully different when we belong to Christ. We can go through the same situations, but have opposite experiences. This stirs the hearts of those around us to come to the end of themselves and be saved…then they will draw others… who will draw others…who will draw others. Are you seeing it? This is God’s Plan to expand His Kingdom here and then forevermore. What an honor and privilege…and responsibility, to be a part of this design!
