If you have never read Psalm 139, I do hope you will carve out some time this week to do so. I am taking our next “verse to remember” from this wonderful song. In it you can learn about so many amazing qualities of our loving God. For instance, it speaks about the Omnipresence of God; how He is everywhere, all at the same time. Whether in our past, present or future, during our highs or our low’s of life, even those times when we think we are surrounded by darkness and feel dead inside, God is always just a prayer away. He is everywhere and always makes Himself available to us.
This psalm also talks about the Omniscience of God. How He knows everything, and knew it all from before Time began. This means He knew each of us, all our successes and failures, all our strengths and weaknesses, all our good deeds and all the times we would fall into our vices. God knows it all…and here is the most amazing part, He loves us anyway! I love this quote I heard a while back, not sure who said it, but if it is this good, it came from God so…listen: “We can’t earn His Love because of our goodness, but we can’t lose His Love because of our wickedness.” My Friends, that’s Good News! That is the unchanging Love of our God! Think about this statement today as you begin to memorize Ps 139:16

Yes, we have a most loving God! Celebrate Him today! And I will see you tomorrow…
