While answering the first Call to Salvation seals us forever, opening the doors to Heaven FOR us because of the Sacrifice of Jesus on our behalf, the second call begins to reveal this NEW Nature within us to the world around us as we grow in Christ. We go from being a sinner to a saint…but saints who still sin! The more we mature though, the more we will reveal what Jesus has already done for us, He made us sinless. Again, the more we grow to be like Him, the more we will “sin less”! Our inside character becomes our outside conduct and we reveal Jesus to this fallen and broken world. That’s the plan…that’s the work of Sanctification.
