Happy New Year, Friends!
The last Ripple brings it all together as we serve God by serving others. This is where we can display our transformation to date, as we seek to imitate the incredible character of Jesus. We are literally God’s hands and feet as we embrace the hurting and travel to wherever it is we can travel to so we can be of help. I shouldn’t have to say how much more blessed WE feel when we sincerely assist others. The joy in our hearts warms our soul and helps us feel like we are doing what we were always meant to do, to love and be loved.
We can serve in our occupations to provide for the needs for whatever it is our jobs entail. For instance, as a pharmacist, I was able to counsel patients on health matters so they could live a more productive life. But as we said, it is when we find our vocation, that passion God has instilled into our hearts about how to point others to His Love and Grace, where life really becomes sweet. Knowing and operating in our vocation is so vital for this hurting and lost world that I cannot stress it enough, if you do not know what spiritual gifts God has granted you, if you still do not know your place in God’s Kingdom, please, oh please, pray and seek this today. The Church needs devoted members who desire to bring Heaven to earth now more than ever!
