As I always say, sowing and reaping is a real thing. We have to make good decisions here, today, so that we can have a good harvest tomorrow. And choosing to be active is certainly good seeds to sow into our health. This, of course, requires discipline. I know this is another one of those words that we probably don’t like to hear, yet it is so good, and vital, for us in order to live a healthy and enjoyable life.
I need to preach this to myself all the time, but discipline is the key to consistently sowing good seeds so we can have a life filled with peace and joy, not to mention being healthier children of God. We can either choose to focus on the current pain and discomfort, or we can keep our eyes on the goodness that will naturally result from our right decisions. We must learn to discipline our body.
Discipline brings self-esteem with it! We will feel so much better about ourselves as we reap the goodness from those good choices. Discipline is a good thing indeed, so let’s make those better choices today and look forward to a healthier life in the future.
