Praise God we can…
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1Pe 5:7 NIV
ALL anxieties, did you see that? Not only the ones you know you cannot handle, but all of them. You and I do not need to manage any difficulties of life on our own anymore. Not one of them! We were always meant to walk hand and hand with God, side by side with Him…remember that three legged race? (link below) This means no matter how big or how seemingly small any challenge is, we can cast it on God because He cares for us. And since He cares for us, He has already made a way for us to get through whatever it is that is causing us anxiety.
Will it be a quick fix? Oh wouldn’t that be nice! But nope. Sorry, usually it’s not. But this is the way we grow, my Friends. If God always, immediately fixed all our problems, we would just be a bunch of spoiled brats…and that is as far away from the image of Jesus that we are supposed to be transforming into BTW, as we could get. It is as we choose to 1- become aware of our concerns and then 2- turn to God and pray, connecting with Him, that God will give us insight as to the when’s, where’s and how’s of fulfilling requirement number 3…I will tell you what that one is tomorrow…
