Glean from the Passion of Others

Reading for knowledge should naturally lead us to study for understanding. As I said yesterday, the Holy Spirit is THE Teacher and we should always pray before we begin delving deeper into understanding His Word. It is His “job” and great pleasure to lead us into all Truth. (Jn 16:13)

In addition, there have been so many people God granted a passion to study the Bible that we have now so many resources for our own study. We can utilize the internet to have access to countless sermons and classes and books through which we can “glean” the information that the Holy Spirit will use to guide us on our path of this lifelong journey of getting to know God, more and more. To glean is to extract the truth from resources that will help you.

A caution here, of course: while there are great resources available, there are also a great many sites you want to stay away from, so I will be sharing with you some of the websites, apps and materials I use to deepen my relationship with God as I continue to understand His Word. (If you are interested, my book can be one of your resources, link is below).
