Praise God that, once you are sincerely born again, there is nothing and no one that can ever come between you and God ever again. Listen to these awesome words from Paul: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Ro 8:38-39) Talk about Good News! Again God’s Salvation should cause a rippling effect in every part of our lives. It should change us daily from the sinner we used to be into this beloved, holy child of God we now are. So when difficulties come, because they will, knowing this truth helps us go through whatever we must, with peace and joy intact.
Knowing who you are in Christ, what Salvation gives you, is the power to live the Abundant Life. In Christ we are reconciled, redeemed, restored. We are children of God. No longer on our own, but one with our Creator. Joined with Jesus, we are free. Not free to do whatever we want…this is that original problem, my Friends! But we are free to make the right choices, that is, free to choose God’s way over our own, more and more. God’s Salvation is setting humans all back to how it should have been in the beginning, with Creation worshipping the Creator, and living as one with Him and one another. Remember, unity is the goal to Love, and it is the only way to have, enjoy and share this Abundant Life.
