Grow Old or Grow Up

We have spent this entire year talking about what I call the “Seven Ripples of Life.” These are seven different areas of life where, once Jesus enters into our lives, He begins to change them for the better, as we work with Him. It is vital we understand that, we must work with Him in order to experience these areas with more peace and joy. God will not force us to change, so we must want to change, then He is more than happy to help us grow up.

While we have no choice but to grow older, since Time continues to move forward, so does our age, but you and I do have some power as to whether we grow up. To become mature in Christ means becoming more and more like Him. The truth is God loves us right where we are, but if we do not choose to work with Him and grow up, we might not fully experience the joys of being born again here in this world. Of course, God is a Good, Good Father, so if He wants us to DO something, we will, but we are the ones who miss out when we are not participating, on purpose, with this Sanctification process.
