When we pray to God, but then do not get what we want, when we want it, how we want it and so on, it becomes too easy for us to judge God as if He does not have our best in mind. This of course is part of struggling to grow in our Faith. When God seems silent, do we walk away from Him, not trusting His Love and Grace? OR do we simply continue to pray, knowing that He will answer our prayers the best way possible?
As I said yesterday, my family has been struggling for months, and I am sad to say, when my Dad’s surgery was canceled, I began to question God’s intentions. But by His Grace, I returned to my senses and know that His Plan is greater than I could imagine, and I am choosing to trust Him instead.
During this latest “Faith challenge,” I was convicted in my heart about how I was judging God. He quietly spoke to my heart and simply said, “The way I answer prayers, is often the way My children answer My callings to them.” Let’s talk more about this tomorrow…
