This program is our “roadmap to success.” We all might know where we want to go, but without proper direction? We will get lost. The Baby Steps I mentioned yesterday will move us along in our financial journey towards real peace and freedom. Mr Ramsey says, “Having a goal is great, but you need to know more than just where you want to end up; you need to know how to get from Point A to Point B.” (p7) This is what his program gives us…and it is one of the things I help others work through in the coaching aspect of my ministry. We all need accountability to succeed. So whether you would like to contact me for help or whether you will join a local group going through Financial Peace University, it is powerful to find others who will keep you responsible to following through. You can go on the link below to find a class…and yes, there is a fee, but it is so very worth it.
First, you will be invested in the program. Sometimes when we do not pay for things, we do not take them seriously and nothing ever changes in our lives. So whether you reach out to me for help or you get the program from Ramsey Solutions, make the investment because you will reap so much more. Second, you will more than get that modest cost back…remember the $6000/year savings I got right away? Just the control you will sense over your finances is so worth the investment…and again I emphasize investment. Whenever we seek to truly change our lives for the better, it is an important investment we are making in our future, and I might add, in the future of our children, or others around us too. Whether we are talking about losing weight, getting ahead in our career or getting our finances in order, we must give something in order to get something much better. Do not, I repeat do not, let the enemy discourage you because you might have to spend a little to gain a lot. I cannot more highly recommend Financial Peace University…and no, I do not get any reimbursement from Mr Ramsey…but I do get so much joy seeing others become financially free, like me!
