It Is the Reason Why

So we all need to make this shift from living life revolving around MMI, to truly living life as it should be, centering everything on God. The way we make this shift, Mr Lucado says, is by beholding God’s Glory. The more we spend time pondering God, getting to know and experience all the amazing attributes of God’s Immaculate character, the more we will begin to reflect His Glory, His Holiness, His Eternal Nature, His unchanging heart, His great Love. We will be able to love the unlovable. To have joy even in life’s hardships. To live at peace within us, and with those around us. We will be transformed into the image of Christ, step by step, glory by glory the Bible says. (see 2Co 3:18) The more we choose to bask in the SON, the more we will make this shift, and the more our lives will become fulfilling. And hopefully, the more others around us will desire to ponder God too.

I will close with these words from our wise author: “[God] knows your limitations. He’s well aware of your weaknesses. You can no more die for your own sins than you can solve world hunger. And, according to him, that’s okay. The world doesn’t rely on you. God loves you too much to say it’s all about you…. To say ‘It’s not about you’ is not to say you aren’t loved; quite the contrary. It’s because God loves you that it’s not about you.” (pp74-75) My Friends, God loves you!
