This month we will celebrate Mother’s Day. One of the talents God has given many moms is the ability to take care of life’s problems in practical ways. Whether this is kissing boo-boos away, throwing together a great meal on a budget or creating an amazing last minute costume for the school play, mothers have a great ability to come up with fixes for the everyday issues that might come up. We moms are real, we are industrious, and like God, we work with what we are given. These are some of the many gifts God has instilled into the hearts and minds of mothers everywhere.
With that in mind, I am going to spend this month talking about the very applicable teaching of my spiritual Mama, Joyce Meyer. For me, Mrs Meyer has been a God send, quite literally. Her practical teaching has, and continues, to help me know God more fully, and follow Him more closely. She, like me, has never been enrolled in any seminary, but we both have been called into the University of the Holy Spirit, majoring in the School of Hard Knocks. As such, she has plenty of experiential wisdom to share.
So this month we will work through her book titled, “Making Good Habits – Breaking Bad Habits” because which one of us doesn’t need a good dose of that in our lives, right? We will start tomorrow…
