While we are certainly to enjoy this life as we love God and love others, we were never created for this fallen world. We were created for Paradise. Listen to these verses,

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more…. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
This is the ultimate “NEW” our hearts should be longing for. It is Because God has made the New Way, giving us His New Mercies every day, then the New Identity when we surrender to Jesus, which leads to a New Mind with its New Habits, so we can love the members of our New Family the right way, that the New Heaven & New Earth will be so fulfilling. Again, this is what we were created for, to be one with God and one another in the bonds of His Love and amazing Grace. Praise God He still makes all things NEW!
