So with the last book we just finished, we kind of hit three of my “Ripples of Life” as we talked about relationships. They are Affectionately Yours, Balanced Parenting and Growing Relationships because learning the love languages of our spouses, children, friends and so on, will lead to healthier connections and that will make our lives, and theirs, more fulfilling. This month we are going back to the bull’s eye of the Ripples as we seek ways to enhance our walk with God, as we work with Him to mature spiritually. Of course this is the number one best way to have, enjoy and share the Abundant Life because it is the core of how we love God and one another. The more mature we become, that is the more we begin to act like the beloved, holy child of God we now are once we become born again, the more we can love God and others more fully, including loving ourselves in a whole and balanced way. As I said yesterday, Love is the ultimate goal to life.
Again, this month we are going to think about Spring and the growth it brings with that lovely season, as we talk about growing in Christ. If you have never heard of these three little, yet profound books by Bruce Wilkinson, then I am more than happy to introduce you to them. The first is called “The Prayer of Jabez.” Then we have “Secrets of the Vine.” And lastly is “A Life God Rewards.” While I recommend all of them, we will be focusing on that second wonderful book this month. It centers around some of my favorite verses from the Gospel of John, chapter 15, verses 1- 10. I do hope you will take some time today to read over this Scripture and ask God to open your hearts to learn more of His powerful truth. We will begin tomorrow…
