The whole point to life is to love and be loved. Pride is what keeps us from fulfilling this purpose, so the more we allow God’s Love to infiltrate our own broken hearts, the more we can move towards actually living up to this grand goal. And the beautiful result? Good, healthy relationships that give us more and more harmony and peace. It will be as if we are already in Heaven, or at the very least, we can bring a piece of Heaven down to this lost and hurting world.
You see, I do not believe Heaven will be a place where we will all be little robots all thinking and doing the same exact thing. There is such beauty in diversity. I think we will all still be our own unique individuals who see things in a particular way. The difference is we will take into consideration the views of others before we take any action. Unity. It is a word that is so often left out in our daily conversations, and yet, it is what God originally had in mind for His children. Again, conflicts, or differences, are not the problem. It is when we dismiss others, and their differences, that makes it explode into the mess we are currently in.
Listen, I am on this journey just like you. I am a work in progress…but by God’s Grace, I am IN progress. Each time God shows me a little bit more of how He deals with our personal relationship, I learn how to handle all my other relationships. I am growing into who I will be forevermore. A person who seeks harmony with those around me. A person who desires unity with everyone. And a person who can love and be loved. That’s the point, my Friends!
