Merry CHRISTmas! The Baby in the Manger…this is the greatest miracle that could ever happen: God becoming man so that mankind can be with God forevermore! I know we will not be able to fully grasp it, but try to wrap your mind around the fact that the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent God chose to put His entire Nature into a tiny, little, helpless Baby…just to show us how much He loves us and that He does not want to spend Eternity apart from us. If we receive this incredible miracle, this gift that we do not need to earn, we are granted a reservation to Heaven. It really is as simple as that, choose to receive this miracle!
This year, please don’t just glance at this most precious Baby in the Manger, smile then move on. Spend some time thinking about these verses: Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 2:9-10; John 3:16; Luke 1:26-38 and 2:1-20. Allow yourself to be amazed at the depth of God’s Love that He would send His only Begotten Son to become our perfect Lamb of God, the Sacrifice that would pay our sin debt and grant us the ability to have a growing relationship with our Creator here, and then for all Eternity.
The cradle…it really is the greatest miracle…and God still creates miracles…seek Him and find this greatest miracle today.
