We were never meant to go through this life alone, and sometimes we need someone who has been trained to help us get through the challenging times. There is nothing wrong with seeking professional help and, as Christians, there is a lot of help available for us if we seek it. We can turn to our deacons and pastors. We can turn to godly Bible teachers. And we can turn to the many good Christian counsellors who are ready to help us heal from any past traumas. They will help us sort through the things that have happened to us, so that we may find true healing from any power those events have had over us. And when we are ready to move forward, we can turn to Christian Life Coaches, who will help us continue to become all that God desires us to be.
It takes a great deal of humility to admit we need help. As we grow in Christ, one of the things we must realize is that everyone needs someone who will help them see life from a bigger perspective. There is no shame in getting help so, please, get involved with others, get plugged in with like-minded godly friends, but do not hesitate to find counseling or coaching either.
