Poor sleep is not just an issue about what happens right before we go to bed. We can, and should, make a bedtime routine that will help us as we prepare for sleep. For instance, we can set a consistent time to go to bed, as well as getting up in the morning. We can learn to end our eating at least three hours before we want to sleep. And we really should get off our techno gadgets at minimum 1/2 hour before resting for the night. But since everything effects everything else in our life, what we do throughout the day has real impacts of whether we are sleeping well, or not.
This week, let’s talk about one of the most obvious obstacles to a good night’s rest, that is being over stressed throughout our day. Understand that if we start out being so stressed during the day, that will definitely impact whether we get a good night’s rest or not.
