A healthy environment starts in the home. First, in our internal home, that inner world of spirit and soul with the Holy Spirit, but then it should spill over into our physical home, where we live with others. The increases in peace and joy must overflow to those we live among, or what is the point, right? As we grow in Christ, individually, we will talk about this growth, naturally, and the whole house will be blessed by our walk with God.
Of course, I have been talking about the ideal situations all week, where a husband and wife both desire to grow in their relationships with God and one another. Where parents understand that they must equip their children with Truth or lose them to the lies of this world…but what if the married couple, one or both, are not interested in maturing in Christ? What if the children are already indoctrinated and are following after the patterns of this world? Is all Hope lost? Are these households doomed to unrest, stress and heartache?
