The change starts at home, but then let it ripple out into the world around us. Not everyone will be given a worldwide pulpit, but we don’t need one to really effect this world for good…look at our Amazing Lord. Jesus was ONE Human, Who surrounded Himself with broken disciples, who then, and still, are changing this world, and the next for the better. Will we join Him and them, or will we continue to falsely think the Christian life still centers on MMI? If we continue living this way, Church, we are missing the point of church.
We are supposed to be different, which means that our marriages are supposed to be different. Which means that our parenting and families are supposed to be different. Which means we should be making a difference in this world. How can we make a difference if we are not different? The key to all of this of course is to become more and more like God, Who is Holy and wholly different. That’s what “holy” means: to be set apart, or in other words, to be different. Church is this our priority? I am not trying to make us feel guilty…never forget Romans 8:1…but I am trying to wake us all up! This of course includes myself. God is doing some miraculous changes in me this year…and it all centers on one thing…
