I call knowing your spiritual gift in order to find your vocation, finding your Sweet Spot. It is here where you can sense the deep connection between you and God and it is almost like being in Heaven already. This is how I feel when I am teaching or speaking about God’s Love and Word. The flow is absolutely amazing. The Spirit comes in me, then through me and, to be honest there are times I say something, as if I knew it all long, but I didn’t! Sometimes I joke with my Bible Study class that I would love to record our classes so that I can hear what I am saying! This is not some weird kind of out of body thing, of course, it is simply the wholehearted connection between God and myself. Because I am open to His leading, He comes to me, then through me.
Sometimes our occupation can be our vocation, that’s when we really sense this Sweet Spot! When our job is to point others to Jesus, then we are using both our talents and our gifts all at the same time. The more we spend working towards God’s Eternal Kingdom, instead of our own temporary one, the more life gets truly satisfying. This is because we are not supposed to live two separate lives anymore after we become born again. There should be no such thing as a…well we will finish this up tomorrow…
