And We Know

This is not wishful thinking, my Friends, listen: 

“And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.” Ro 8:28 BSB

For we know…not guess, or wish, or maybe, perhaps…WE KNOW! This is not based on you or me, it is founded on the reliable truth of God, His Love and His Word. It is unmovable, unshakeable, unending, just like God is. We know that what this verse is saying is going to happen, period. It matters little what things “look like”! That’s based on our growing perception. It matters little what we think, feel or want because all those are subject to change, and they change very often. This verse is solid Rock, my Friends, and because it is, we can have confidence in any and every situation in which we find ourselves.

As we have been saying for several weeks now, this doesn’t mean fear will not raise its ugly head. It does not mean we will be positive about all our choices. And it certainly does not mean everything will work out the way you and I want it to work out. But what it does say is, even if you feel fear, even if you are not sure about your decisions, even if things do not go your way, God is not done yet! As we deepen our Faith in Him, as we hold firmly to our Hope in Him, and as we continue to follow Him, God will work it all together for our good…more tomorrow…
