I am sure you are like me and have wanted, on one or more occasions, to just start all over again, to have things new and be able to go on from there… well here we go…
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Eze 36:26 NIV
With God, every day has the potential to be a new start. How awesome is that!?! If you have never surrendered your heart to Jesus as your Savior and Lord, today is your day! God will take away your sinfulness. God will restore your brokenness. God will redeem your hurts. God will transform your failures. God will make you new…if you let Him. Not because He needs our permission, but because He requires it. As I have said so many times, God will not force any of this on us. He offers a new life, we must choose to humbly receive it. If you never have, again, today is your day. Won’t you pray with me something like this?
“Lord, I know that I am a sinner and I realize I cannot save myself. I need You. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I surrender my life to You as my Lord and Savior. Grow me in Your Love, lead me in Your Grace, help me be the person You always wanted me to be. Thank You, my Lord and my God. Amen.”
