Developing Masterpiece

Now that we are His and continue to choose to grow in God’s Love and Grace, we can be transformed for His Glory and for the good of all mankind.

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Eze 36:26 NIV

I said a moment ago, we can be transformed for His Glory and for the good of all mankind. That might sound a bit high and mighty, but we serve the Most High and Mighty God! Please never forget that. Nothing is impossible with God. (Lk 1:37) We have no idea what God can use us to do. Think of this Prophet Ezekiel for a moment. Do any of us really think that this saint knew you and I would still be learning from the words God spoke into his heart so long ago?! Our outreach can be endless. It can turn hearts towards God Who will grant Eternity, to those who choose to heed our words. It can lead to offenses being healed, marriages being reconciled, children being saved. My Friends, never limit the ways God can mold your heart and use your life.

Moldable. Once God removes our selfish, hard heart, He grants us a new heart of flesh. Please do not confuse this with our old, sinful Flesh that only wanted to live for MMI. This new heart is created by God specifically for each of us and is centered on Love, not Pride. It is flesh in that it can continue to be created. Like a tiny baby continues to grow and be molded into who he will be, you and I can continue to allow our Master to paint His masterpiece in us. And as our inner person changes to be more like Jesus, that Perfect Son, then the beauty God is developing within us, will begin to be displayed in the way we interact with others, as we life this New Life.
