So you met someone worth getting to know. You started dating this person and have gotten to know their heart, thoughts and dreams. You began the commitment to be together by getting engaged. And then, the final step, you got married. Now “your” life is no longer yours alone. The two of you are becoming ONE and learning to give and take as you develop this healthy, beautifully intimate relationship. This “becoming” is a lifetime thing…the “happily ever after” requires that you both learn each other’s love languages so you can communicate well. That you learn to lower your Pride and compromise for the benefit of both of you. And that you learn to forgive and forget and love and let go and…and you learn to live life as ONE, with the same purpose and goals for this life, and hopefully, the next.
