The Becoming ONE Means

Now that you are married and becoming one with your spouse, a significant reality of this relationship is that you each are NO LONGER two separate persons. You are ONE. Part of this means that, whatever belonged to one spouse, now belongs to the other. For good or bad, you share everything as ONE.

Again, I hope you have been thinking about our relationship with Jesus throughout these videos this week, because THIS truth has such great consequences for us! Let’s tie it all together tomorrow…

Here are the four phases of marriage with more details:

4 Phases of Marriage

1- Meeting: must decide IF it is worth getting to know each other

2- Dating: still separate lives, no long commitment, but beginning to know each other

3- Engagement: thinking of future, beginning a commitment to each other

4- Marriage: two become one, fully committed, till death & beyond
