The next “ripple” is Growing Relationships. The most challenging part of life can also be the most rewarding part of life and this, of course, is relationships. We were created for relationships, by a God Who is all about relationships. Once we become born again, we not only have a biological family, but in addition a Forever Family that we can connect with, where we can give and find encouragement and also a growing number of people we can learn to love the way God loves us.
As we interact with others, we display how much we have grown in Christ. This is where our maturity, or lack thereof, is shown. What God has done within us is presented for all the world to see. How much of the Fruit of the Spirit we have is demonstrated when we must be loving, peaceful, joyful, patient, gentle, kind, faithful, good and self-controlled with others around us. (Gal 5:22-23) We need each other and the more we grow in Christ, the healthier relationships we can have.
